St. James Episcopal Church Youth Ministries Every Christian Formed Youth News March/April YOUTH EVENTS Sunday, March 5th 6:00 PM Pizza and games at Gaitiland Saturday and Sunday, March 18-19th Glasgow Mission Trip Six of St. James' youth group spent a March weekend in Glasgow, KY learning about organic sustainable farming while our hostess provided us with a wonderful meal made from organic products from their farm. We actually pulled vegetables from the ground and ate them raw!!! They were delicious too! Thus began our mission trip, organized by Rev. Suzanne Barrow, to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. After our day long excursion, we returned to St. Andrew's to assist their members in creating several raised planting beds which will be used to grow food and flowers for their parish shut-ins. The next morning, we attended church services with their ever-growing congregation. Our weekend concluded with the youth traveling home together, encouraging travelers to "Honk, if you love Jesus".
