Mary Abrams
and her husband, Jan, have been members at St. James since January of 2005. She sings with the choir, serves on the altar guild and attends the 8th day classes. She attends the 11:00 Sunday service. She has been active at all levels of the Episcopal Church. In her former parish she served on the vestry both as Junior and Senior Warden. She is active in Cursillo and has been elected member of T&C, Standing Committee, Co- chair of the Bishop’s Search Committee and deputy to General Convention. She was appointed to a six year term on the National Churches Standing Commission for Liturgy and Music. Mary is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and an educator. She was Dean of Students at Jefferson Community College until 1999 when she moved to the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) where currently she is Director of Transfer and Student Affairs. |
