Interfaith Service of Prayers for World Peace
One World One Peace In commemoration of the fourth anniversary of the war in Iraq An Interfaith Service of Prayers for World Peace The public is invited to join St. James' Episcopal Church and Interfaith Paths to Peace for this service of prayer and hope. Date: Sunday, March 18, 2007 at 3:00pm Reception following service Location: Christ Church Cathedral 421 South Second Street, Louisville, KY 40202 In observance of the fourth anniversary of the war in Iraq, an interfaith service of prayers for peace will be held. The service, co-sponsored by St. James' Episcopal Church and Interfaith Payts to Peace will be led by representatives from St. James' as well as persons from other religious traditions including Judaism, Buddhism, and Islam. It will include music, prayers, and readings. A time for fellowship and refreshments will follow the prayer service. Both the service and reception are free and opne to persons of all religions, as well as those who do not identify themselves with any religion. "This is not a protest, but a service of hope that peace will prevail-not only in the Middle East, but all over the world."
